High Reach Forklift – Prestons

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable High Reach Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, excellent forklift handling skills, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing stock in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a high reach forklift safely and efficiently to move goods and materials.
Load, unload, and stack products in designated warehouse locations.
Perform stock rotation and ensure inventory accuracy.
Assist with order picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as required.
Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on forklifts.
Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to optimize workflow.

Requirements:

Valid High Reach Forklift License (LF) and proven experience operating a high reach forklift.
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding role.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking (preferred but not essential).
