Times: 6am Monday-Friday

Rate: $53k-$55k per annum

Job Summary

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Recycle Industry Labourers to join our operations team. In this role, you will clean, inspect, and refurbish used steel and plastic products using specialized equipment and processes, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect used product for damage, contamination, or defects.
  • Clean products using industrial washing equipment, solvents, or other approved methods.
  • Remove labels, residues, and coatings as required.
  • Repair or replace product parts such as lids, bungs, or seals.
  • Paint, reline, and refurbish product to meet company and industry standards.
  • Operate machinery and tools such as crushers, reconditioning ovens, or welding equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials following environmental regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform quality control checks and document completed work.
  • Exposure to loud noise, chemicals, and industrial equipment.
  • Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Use of protective gear such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses.

Skills Required

  • Experience in recycling, waste management, or industrial cleaning a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 25kgs and work at a steady pace
  • Comfortable working around heavy machinery and industrial cleaning chemicals
  • Forklift experience a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
