About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Drum Reconditioner to inspect, clean, repair, and prepare used drums for reuse. The ideal candidate will ensure that all reconditioning processes meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.

To be successful:

Full-time availability (Monday – Friday, 38+ hours per week) – No part-time positions

  • Inspect used drums for damage, contamination, or defects.
  • Clean drums using industrial washing equipment, solvents, or other approved methods.
  • Remove labels, residues, and coatings as required.
  • Repair or replace drum parts such as lids, bungs, or seals.
  • Paint, reline, and refurbish drums to meet company and industry standards.
  • Operate machinery and tools such as drum crushers, reconditioning ovens, or welding equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials following environmental regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform quality control checks and document completed work.
  • Exposure to loud noise, chemicals, and industrial equipment.
  • Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Use of protective gear such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses.

  • Freight Depot operations co-ordination of Import, Export cargo receivables and releases
