Carpenters

Labourpower Recruitment Services are seeking experienced Trade Qualified Carpenters for causal on going positions in Berkeley Vale and Somersby.

These positions will be based on a 38 hour week, Monday to Friday with the potential for overtime.

About the position:

• Building structures & machinery
• Form work
• General carpentry duties
• Reading & interpreting drawings and plans
• Use power tools to cut and prepare timber and assemble wood to form structures as required
• Ability to work to a program / schedule.
• The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with the carpentry team, other contractors and staff, displaying confidence and respect when dealing with others.
• Maintain work area in a neat and tidy manner at all times.
• Assist in any part of the business as required

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills & attributes:

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient work flow and adherence to safety standards
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in related field
• High level of attention to detail including speed and accuracy
• A willingness to learn and adapt

• Able to provide two work reference checks
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
