Our client, stands as the premier precast & steel product supplier to the civil construction industry with various sites across Australia. Due to expansion they are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Assistant to join their dynamic team. This position will start as a casual working full time hours with the view of going permanent based in the Cowra.

Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Assistant, you will:

• Support day-to-day logistics operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating shipments for the Queensland branch.
• To provide administrative support and assisting in various tasks related to the transportation, storage and distribution of good and services/
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare shipping documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
• Assist in tracking and resolving any logistical issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support business operations.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Proficient in using logistics software and tools, such as inventory management systems and transportation management systems
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data.
• Ability to work independently as well as park of a team.
• A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills.
• Current Forklift and Driver’s licence.
