Estimator – Residential Construction

• $80k per year based in experience
• Minimum 2- 3 years of experience required
• Flexible working conditions
• Capalaba location

We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Estimator to join a growing team within the residential construction industry.
The ideal candidate will have a “can-do” attitude and be looking to take on a new challenge to develop a new skills set.

The position will be required you to perform the following duties:

• Drafting and issuing requests for quotes to suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Collating and reviewing quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Entering pricing into company spreadsheets and software packages.
• Liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure accuracy of the information required.
• Build rapport with suppliers and contractors to obtain best pricing.
• Preparation of written quotes to present to clients.

Qualifications and/or Required Skills:

• Basic understanding and ability to read and interpret plans.
• Experience with Microsoft suite including but not limited to Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Data entry experience.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Organised, excellent time management and effective presentation skills.
• High level communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to multi-task and work to time frames.
