Machine Technician – Night Shift

Level 4 EBA rate plus 30% night shift loading – $45.24 per hour
Monday to Friday 10.00pm-6.00am

We have an opportunity for a Machine Technician to join our client’s team based in Ingleburn, Sydney. This is a permanent full-time position working, Monday to Friday on night shift (10pm-6.00am). Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of blow moulding machines to ensure the production of high-quality plastic products to meet our customer’s requirements. Further to this your key responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities:

Set up and calibrate blow moulding machines according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting of equipment and report any foreseeable issues.
Monitor, inspect and adjusting machine settings as required to optimise production efficiency, reduce waste and conduct quality checks on finished products.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or issues.
Maintain and ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Skills and Competencies:

High level of mechanical aptitude is essential, and a trade background is a bonus.
Ability to work on our night shift (10pm to 6am).
Quality control and defect analysis- You will have good attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
Proven ability to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.
Proficient computer skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience operating a forklift and hold a current forklift licence is essential
