Maintenance Fitter

An opportunity currently exists for a Maintenance Fitter based in Cowra . The role will be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of all plant & construction machinery and assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance according to Australian Standards, relevant regulations and manuals for the Cowra operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement solutions to minimise downtime.
• Install, align, and adjust mechanical components for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role.
• Mechanical Fitter/Machinist Trade Certificate essential
• Forklift licence ( High Risk LF) preferred
• Welding Certificate (preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Knowledge of tools, welding, and fabrication
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
