MANUFACTURING LABOURERS – GLADESVILLE

Labourpower are recruiting for 5 x Manufacturing Labourers for a client in Gladesville

This business is the leading manufacturer and distributor of non-slip flooring and stair components in Australia and they are searching for a quality employee to join their manufacturing department.

SHIFT: 8am-4pm

Successful applicants will have/be;

• Good with tools, hand and powered (drop saw, drill presses and punching machinery)
• Previous Manufacturing experience, preferably with steel/aluminium
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Mathematical Aptitude
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent Safety Record
• Great attendance Record
• Willing to undertake manual handling
• FULL UNRESTRICTED WORK RIGHTS – NO VISAS

ROLE:

• Cutting aluminium brass and stainless steel accurately to length with drop and table saws.
• Use hand tools as well as basic machinery (drill presses and punching machinery)
• Applying abrasive compounds
• Measuring and Calculating distances, weights, angles
• Stacking and packing finished stair treads / other components
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
