What you will doing:

Proposals, Quotes and Customer Service

  • Prepare tailored quotations, presentations, and sales materials.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality submissions and build supplier relationships.
  • Resolve escalated complaints to improve service and satisfaction.

Tenders

  • Manage contract documentation and ensure submission accuracy.
  • Write, edit, and collaborate with stakeholders for clear submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company policies.

Pricing, Cost Models and Pipeline Management

  • Provide insights into pricing and assist with contract reviews.
  • Develop cost models and present data visually for decision-making.
  • Audit pricing structures, update CRM, and track project progress.

Commercial Reports

  • Prepare performance reports and quarterly business reviews.
  • Analyse profitability, gather forecast data, and maintain templates.
  • Support sales with quotes and tariff distribution.

Promotional and Marketing Campaigns

  • Create event notifications and coordinate customer functions.
  • Monitor social media trends and launch LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Manage inquiries, sales communications, and media releases.

To be Successful you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in Customer Service, Sales, or Tender roles, preferably in Logistics and Transport.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Proven analytical skills and experience in data-driven business analysis.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, bench marking, and resource planning.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate, operate independently, and influence outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Management/Distribution systems.
  • Ability to maintain fitness and comply with drug, alcohol, and criminal history regulations.
  • Compliant with workplace policies, procedures, and training requirements.

To be successful:

Full-time availability (Monday – Friday, 38+ hours per week) – No part-time positions

  • Inspect used drums for damage, contamination, or defects.
  • Clean drums using industrial washing equipment, solvents, or other approved methods.
  • Remove labels, residues, and coatings as required.
  • Repair or replace drum parts such as lids, bungs, or seals.
  • Paint, reline, and refurbish drums to meet company and industry standards.
  • Operate machinery and tools such as drum crushers, reconditioning ovens, or welding equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials following environmental regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform quality control checks and document completed work.
  • Exposure to loud noise, chemicals, and industrial equipment.
  • Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Use of protective gear such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing tender documentation and collating necessary information for bid preparation.
  • Measuring drawings and compiling Bills of Quantities when required.

  • Compiling and submitting bids, including methodologies, programs and priced schedules.
  • Attending tender meetings and participating in site visits to gain project insights.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 4-5 years of civil estimating experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
  • A Class C driver’s license and White Card/Induction Card.
  • Familiarity with government sector projects.
  • Some experience working on construction site in labouring or hands on capacity
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
  • Hands on construction experience advantageous
  • Relevant degree or certification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management – (Preferred)

About the role:

Pick and pack orders accurately.

 Before packing up orders, ensure that another warehouse team member has checked
off the items against the order.

 Label orders correctly before shipping.

 Ensure that all orders for the day are picked and packed and despatched.

 Loading and unloading of packages pallets onto / from trucks by forklifts.

 Unpack goods returned into the warehouse, check off and return stock back into bin
location – ensure all returns documents are sent for a credit return.

 Assist with unloading and checking of shipments (stock) arriving into Warehouse.

 Ensure that goods (stock) received are checked off against packing lists supplied.

 Assist with the annual stock take.

 Operate forklift.

 Any other duties as required.

Skills & Experience

 Possessing a forklift licence or willingness to obtain one (Class LC)

 Good communication skills.

 Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

 Basic computer skills.

 Previous experience in a similar position would be highly regarded but not essential
