Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm and 9.00am-5.00pm – rotating weekly roster
Free and secured on site parking for all staff

We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and resilient Transport Allocator to join a transport company in Eagle Farm. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, this role is responsible for ensuring the effective and safe movement of all freight in and out of our yards. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to positively join a team and roll with the punches, be flexible to handle anything that might come their way and display resilience during busy periods.

Objectives of this Role

Respond to phone and email enquiries sent from the client relating to orders, deliveries, and transport.
Liaise with internal/ external customers.
Co-ordinate deliveries as per company policy and procedure with transport providers in a timely manner.
Ensure all Customs and AQIS requirements are checked and completed prior to release of cargo.
Complete Warehouse Release document prior to delivery.
Complete Load plans prior to deliveries.
Update delivery details to internal and external customers.
Monitor delivery details.
Problem solving and troubleshooting when required.
Complete other duties given by the Warehouse and Transport Manager.
Ensure daily checks are completed.
Help warehouse/Airfreight teams with queries.
Data Entry
Help with End of Month billing (MISC Billing).
Sign is all Internal/external customers and visitors.
Hand out freight – Fuji
Complete Outturns daily.
Ensure area is clean and tidy.
Maintain the visitor’s log.
Maintain ABF log.
Upload documentation to secure website.
Complete Ad hoc reports as requested.
Book AOG orders for Virgin
Other duties as directed.
Complete investigation about missing freight or escalations.

Experience and Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role
Microsoft Office and Outlook
Knowledge of transport industry
Knowledge of relevant industry legislation
Understanding of warehouse systems
